The rest of the restaurant came from the Indian side, and of course we are in India! The hospitality of Indian is legendary. In Sanskrit literature, the 3 famous words "Atithi Devo Bhava" or "the guest is truly your God", are the dictum of hospitality in India. Indian believe , that they are honored if they share their meal with guest.
We do not add service charges to any of your bills or accounts and all our staff are employed on the understanding that gratuities is a bonus for good service. We would also like to include the Kitchen team who work behind the scenes and are very rarely seen and sometimes forgotten. Nagoa Beach is a popular picnic spot. It is a secluded beach, which can be reached in 20 minutes through ferry from the main town of Diu. The beach is situated in an old fishing village of Nagoa.
The St. Paul’s Church, Diu, is situated in Diu Island, on the west coast of India, a Union Territory of India. It is located in the town of Diu, which came under the control of the Portuguese colonists in early 16th century.
Khukri Memorial is the memorial site of an Indian Naval Ship that sank during the Indo-Pak War of 1971. Three torpedoes were fired at this naval ship by a Pakistani submarine, which destroyed it around 40 nautical miles from the Diu coast.
Diu Fort is an old Portuguese landmark, which was constructed between 1535 and 1541. This fort is situated right along the shoreline, which is testimony of the strategic alliance between the Sultan of Gujarat and the Portuguese.
Jallandhar Beach, named after the demon Jallandhar, features a small memorial at a hill top along with a stone face structure of the demon. It is a sunny beach, which is around 1 km from Diu and houses a temple, dedicated to Goddess Chandrika.
